Chennault International Airshow A Roaring Success

Airshow MainThe skies over Lake Charles came alive on Saturday, Oct. 24, for the Kia of Lake Charles Chennault International Airshow. The lineup of death-defying aerobatic performances brought down the house, and our runway was bursting with vintage aircraft displays, kids’ activities, interactive exhibits and dazzled audiences.

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Jet Demonstration Team dominated the skies with precision maneuvers in their signature F-16 jets, and the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team showed off their jaw-dropping skydiving skills. Other talented performers included the AeroShell Aerobatic Team, Kevin Coleman, Skip Stewart, Melissa Pemberton, Dan Buchanan and more.
